Art Wiederhold was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1951 and developed an interest in writing while attending Bushwick High School.

The author of more than 30 novels (and one cookbook!) has worked at many different professions, including war correspondent, photographer, cartoonist, artist, soldier, sailor, professional baseball player, chef, international reporter and paranormal investigator.

He is also the creator of the fantasy role playing game, SECOND DAWN which was popular among American soldiers in Europe.
